Celebrating the dignity of women choosing life

Dear Holy Name Parishioners,
We are excited to invite you to participate in our ministry that champions the Pro-Life cause while supporting struggling mothers and babies in a beautiful and practical way. Each month, one mother who is receiving aid from one of Marisol’s crisis pregnancy centers will choose items that she needs to care for her new baby. I will then compile those selections in a Baby Registry on Amazon to share with you. Through this registry, you will be able to purchase items and/or contribute money towards an item. No dollar amount is too small, but we encourage you to be generous in your support of these women who choose life in the face of overwhelming circumstances.

Our September Mother’s Story

Thank you for your willingness to support our September mom and dad. This beautiful
family is embracing the joy and difficulty of the diagnosis of Down Syndrome. They are
happy to choose life for their unborn daughter. The family is excited to know that they
are expecting a baby girl who will be a wonderful addition and friend to their youngest
daughter.

The couple has experienced many miscarriages over the years and has two older adult
children and one young toddler in their home. While the news of the diagnosis is
overwhelming and understandably full of many emotions, the couple is leaning on their
faith and compassion from the Lord.

The couple is very grateful for the support and life affirming care that they are receiving
from Marisol. The couple is receiving resources and care throughout their pregnancy
from Marisol’s care team. Please join us in showering this family with love and support
through the items from their registry and prayers, as they prepare to welcome their
precious little one. Your presence and generosity will be greatly appreciated as we
celebrate the gift of life.
