Bronwen McShea, a visiting history professor at the Augustine Institute will speak on her most recent book, La Duchesse. It is the story of Marie de Vignerot, a Catholic laywoman who spent her fortune to promote true culture and the Church, and was a friend of St. Vincent de Paul, established the first Catholic hospital in the Americas, and ran a salon out of her home in which she supported Catholic artists and writers.
