Advent Retreat
Saturday, December 2, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Holy Name will start its dive into the Eucharistic Revival* at the Advent Retreat this year, where Fr. Daniel will be focusing on how we can actively participate during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Being common priests through our baptism, we are called to make a sacrifice of our lives, through prayer and the reception of the sacraments, and to live as witnesses by holy lives and active charity. Seen through the lens of a common priesthood, Mass becomes not merely an event to attend, but an opportunity to offer our own selves, our own lives. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to gain a deeper perspective on the Holy Mass.

*In honor of the National Eucharistic Congress meeting in June 2024 (the first one in over 80 years), the Bishops of the United States launched a three-year long initiative to renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We are currently in the second year, the Year of Parish Revival. Each parish throughout the country has been tasked with coming up with special efforts to encourage devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist.
