kindergarten- 2nd grade
Vacation Bible Day

Ready for a fun morning of games, learning, crafts, and song? Children will be led through various bible-based activities, focused on their role in salvation history. Open to all children who are incoming K – 2nd graders, the program will provide age-appropriate catechesis and materials to help your child dive deeper into scripture. With readings from the Bible incorporated into the program, children will engage more deeply in the Mass with wonder and awe and see themselves in the epic journey with Christ towards Heaven. The program will have abundant time for songs, snacks, and fun. Registration is open now through May 31st, though spots are limited due to size of classes. Cost is $15 per child which includes programming materials, snacks, and supplies.
3rd – 5th grade
Kickball and Katechesis
First Wednesdays this Summer: June 5, July 3, August 7, 9 AM – 12 PM
Kickball and Katechesis is back this summer! Join us for a fun morning of kickball, followed by indoor activities, catechesis, and additional fun. This summer catechesis we will be taking a deep dive into the Holy Family and our relationship with Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. All incoming 3rd-5th grade youth are welcome to attend! We will meet outside of the SAC on the first Wednesdays of June – August, from 9 am – 12 pm.
Please sign up as soon as possible if you plan on attending at least one of the days: June 5th, July 3rd, August 7th.
6TH – 8TH GRADE
Elevate Rally for Incoming 6th Graders

Get ready for the next step in your faith this summer! We invite incoming 6th grade youth to join Holy Name in attending this summer’s Elevate Rally, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Denver. Elevate is a daylong rally sponsored by the Archdiocese of Denver for current 5th graders going into middle school. The day will include great speakers, a worship band, Mass, games, and lots of fun. This is a great way for your child to begin to make other Catholic friends their age. Click on the link below for more information and to register. Indoor Rock Climbing
Saturday morning, June 15 – Specific Time TBD | Sign up by May 31
Gear up for an epic experience of climbing! This summer will be an opportunity for our Middle School Marian Groups, grades 6th-8th, to build confidence and try something new. With experienced and qualified instructors, youth will learn techniques of climbing, bouldering, and the full ropes. Registration is $30 per participant, which includes all of the gear as well as private instructors. Register below. We will be climbing at Movement in Englewood, ten minutes from Holy Name. Deadline for registration is May 31st. Spots are limited to 20 youth, so register soon to reserve a spot!
Spiritual Battle & Nerf Battle
Wednesday, July 17, 6:00 – 8:00 PM
“Put on the whole armor of God” and… take up the Nerf gun of St. Michael? Come find out if this is a good translation, with pizza and a short talk on spiritual warfare, followed by an outdoor Nerf Battle! Open to all incoming 6th – 8th graders willing to engage in battle. Bring your own Nerf guns and bullets if you have them, or just a courageous spirit!

9TH – 12TH GRADE
High School Youth 14’er
Saturday, July 13, 5:00 AM
Join us for an epic Colorado 14er in the Rocky Mountains! We will be climbing Mt. Yale, which (including driving time) will take the whole day. Meet promptly at 5:00 am in the Holy Name Parking lot to carpool. We will have experienced chaperones to drive and lead the hike. We will arrive back at Holy Name around 5 pm. High School Leadership + Mission Trip

The Holy Name Youth Marian Groups has the exciting announcement of a Leadership and Mission Trip this summer, July 25-28, 2024, in Truchas, New Mexico, in partnership with Creatio. This will be a trip for HS Juniors and Seniors looking to grow deeper in their faith, form themselves as leaders in the faith, serve a community in need, and go on pilgrimage to one of America’s Holiest places, Chimayó.
The Holy Name Youth Marian Groups has the exciting announcement of a Leadership and Mission Trip this summer, July 25-28, 2024, in Truchas, New Mexico, in partnership with Creatio. This will be a trip for HS Juniors and Seniors looking to grow deeper in their faith, form themselves as leaders in the faith, serve a community in need, and go on pilgrimage to one of America’s Holiest places, Chimayó.
The project will involve the demolition and clean-up of space belonging to the rural Catholic community of Truchas, allowing for the accomodation of future pilgrims, mission trips, and visitors to the parish. Holy Name and Creatio Leaders will accompany the weekend with dynamic leadership talks, workshops, and substantial prayer time. Price: $450 – All Transportation, Lodging, Food, and Project Supplies included.
